Quite interested in this, it says you need lactic acid a thought comes to mind. Yogurt should contain lactic acid. If left in the fridge it should start to build a thin layer floating on top scooping it off and placing in your yeast trap. Or perhaps could add some water to the yogurt to produce greater quantities of lactic acid. There may be alternatives to hops. Rosemary for example. You could try liquid malt such as the food supplement if no powdered malt is available. Enjoy experimenting with yeast
