I'm just a forum member and not connected with the team ...
I was lucky enough to take part in the early stress tests, so I base my comments on that, nothing more.
I run 2 GTX 770s in SLI. Realistically, that's one 2Gb graphics card.
My normal resolution is 1080x1900, running 2 monitors.
In the stress tests, I ran the greatest resolution I could. Well, I was bug hunting, as we all will be in the Alpha release.
Based on the above, I'll say yes.
You should even be able to crank that up a bit.
I'm not sure if even the Dev team or the staff over at allgamer know how this will pan out on release.
A lot will depend on other factors apart from your graphics card.
But, in my personal opinion, you'll be fine

Unity games arent very demanding. I ran the forest and 7d2d on medium settings with an intel graphics card.

thanks for all the replies
Laptops have a tough time playing anything, so it is a gamble. Compare what you have played, and judge from the system specs.

Todays realistic specs
i5 Quad, 16gb ddr 3, Video 200-400 dollar cards the 60's series of any gen play ok, the aim is to get the 80's series to have a high quality system.

Remember 60+ fps is the goal. 45 is meh, average.

I have to agree with @Sneakydude here.
Unless you've spent 'stupid' amounts of money on a laptop, you won't get a good gaming experience.
But 60 FPS? I'll be wanting at least 100!
