I was interested to see in the latest dev-blog https://community.survivethenights....evblog-20-player-loot-rv-update-design.10691/ that zombies and players will now both drop loot. The reply from @JB_ that there is a timer on how long loot is available before disappearing shows the team @a2z(Interactive); are not rushing the games development, but focusing on a fully rounded game.
Excellent! It's what we all want, I'm sure.
But it raises a few questions ...
Is the timer adjustable by a server admin, or hard coded?
Are there separate timers for, as examples, player dropped loot or zombie dropped loot?
What if I'm trying to build up a stash of goodies in a building, will they disappear over time, or if I don't log in to the same server for a certain period?
If I'm working with other players to build up a base of operations, how does this effect any de-spawn timer?
