Included in this update is a small video to showcase our menu systems. We’ve wanted to keep these very simple and user friendly. We feel this is what we have accomplished -- keeping all main menus in one window, finding settings, launching servers and adding them to your favorites. Even checking our site and twitter feed for updates is possible all from within the game. You won't have to leave STN to check on the wiki or the community page if you’re having in game issues. @Jayty also talks a bit about unity 5 and what the future holds for STN.

Thanks once again for all of your support! We realize we have a huge road ahead of us and we’re taking it one step at a time to make sure we do everything right. Below you’ll find a few terrain screens and a small update video on the menu system. We’ll be in contact again soon. However, at this time development will continue to take precedence over updates. Thank you again, The team at a2z(Interactive);

Hello all!,

It has been a bit over a month since we’ve updated you, sorry for the delay. All of us here at a2z have been working like dogs sorting our engine upgrade out (Unity4 to Unity5) and getting all the boring bits done. As you’ll see in the video below, we’re making pretty good progress. We’ve mostly moved on from backbone and network structure. Now comes the “fun” part. Design is in full swing and all the features you’ve seen in the concept videos are starting to be slowly integrated once again. We will add features properly making sure one works before moving on to the next. We hope to have the stress tests out soon. I know some of you are very eager to get your hands on the game now, however, as we have said from the start, we won’t be releasing anything to you until we’re happy with it. We’ll also not be releasing anything in the way of Steam's Early Access program until you guys are happy with alpha builds.

We would like to thank you all for your continued support and patience. As always, feel free to PM any of us devs on the forums or on Facebook. Follow us on Twitter for some extra tidbits and news! Thanks again for the support everyone!

Hello everyone,

Apologies for the delay with this video, it's my fault! I wanted to round off the tree felling before we shot the video since it was kinda the main thing we wanted to show. Unfortunately, it took me just a little longer than anticipated.

I will keep this short and let the video do the talking (all 10 minutes of it!) First off, I would just like to say thank you to everyone who is being super understanding and supportive about the delays. Things are really coming together and we're starting to get something that really feels like a game. There's still a long way to go but the stress tests should give you a little teaser of how things will start looking over the next few months.

Hello all,

It’s been a bit since our last update - sorry for that, first and foremost! We’re hunkered down, developing and enjoying the flow of things. Jay has put together a quick video which we’ve released with this update.

As always, thanks very much for your support! Remember, you can check our progress nearly daily on the changelog located here. You can contact us via Facebook, Twitter or on the forums. If you haven't yet, you can also checkout the podcast that our loyal forum mods and fans put out regularly. They’re a great source of info and discussion starters!

This is just a short video showcasing some of our item drops, interactable machines, parts and all kinds of goodies. You can expect to see all of this in alpha v1.0 with much more to follow. Come join us on Steam EA Dec 2016! Official trailer coming soon! :)
