@RickGrimesdd You can see my website : https://www.thelivingones.com . Just PM me to get free advices.

@Clinton Thank you Clinton for this FAQ. I translated it in French on the forum. You can use me as a bridge for french questions about this topic. I think we all would like to see UK servers available, and why not, if it's possible one day, in France.

What can you say about the $ to € conversion ? Is it 1:1 ratio ?

I have the same questions than @Montauk , about the files being not accessible if the link between CP and CFG is broken. Would it be possible to add a shortcut on the panel to access a Web-based text editor to only change a config.cfg file manually ?

I also have a problem regarding ssl cert on the website. The cert is only signed for https://allgamer.net and not the subdomain https://www.allgamer.net . My AV spam me about the self signed key (No Authority). Don't know if it's coming from my computer.

I don't have any static IP addresses just now. But I do have quite a lot of storage space and backup capability. If any of that might help the game move forward, just let me know.

Currency conversion is just 1:1 to USD at the current time. There is a web based editor to edit config files. There shouldn't be any broken links.

As for the SSL. We need to redirect www to non www.

@Clinton Do you have any information on if Client-side mods will be allowed on official servers? Say a mod that effects the ambient noise or increases/changes graphics?(This would obviously only effect those who downloaded the mod, everyone else would see it as normal)

Not sure at the moment how that would be handled. Anything that doesn't give a player an advantage would probably be fine, but writing the client/server to differentiate between what is and isn't an advantage can be difficult. That'll probably be something to discuss in the future.

Once we can host a server from your site will there be any remote options via rcon?
Not sure if there will be something like RCON yet. We'll have to see how things go I suppose. If anyone knows for sure it would be Jayty.

I've create a poll for people to vote for the location they want the most. Please take a moment to vote if you're looking forward to renting a server: https://serverpoll.allgamer.net

I voted for UK servers, but was surprised that there weren't more votes cast.
Perhaps the learning curve is just a little too steep for all of us just now (?)

That's right. If i love UK servers, a french one is more into the concept of european community by proximity. And french servers are one of the lowest prices in EU.

As long as the team at allgamer can bring us enough capacity, low ping times and everything else, well I'm sure we'll all be happy.
I don't think capacity will be an issue. I suspect everything is virtualised, so adding more storage / memory to a server won't be an issue.
For me, it's all about the bandwidth and speed they could allocate to this game. That's a cost issue. Perhaps if we all rented server space for the game, we could pool resources to help the game be more playable for everyone?

As said in the FAQ, AllGamer will be the only one to host the game for a while. My community already own an i7 4790k dedicated server. We keep it in background for now and just hope to offer the best stability AllGamer can give us to the EU players we'd like to see on our server, while keeping the dedicated server ready and secured for the future.

This is a really good opportunity for us to respond to this survey as we don't know how many time we will be on AllGamer's servers.
