So this is a way of leveling up your characters strength (melee damage, weight capacity, etc) going to a gym or some rednecks house to find a bench press or squat rack anything of the sort. I believe that you click the bench or whatever select weights to put on it and you lift the more frequent you do it the better your strength. Just to stick with the old school leveling up. the longer you do it the more weight you can put on it and the stronger you get.
